The Del-One Foundation is a nonprofit corporation that was formed to raise funds for charitable purposes, specifically the purpose of benefiting the residents of Delaware. The foundation will fund and sponsor various charities throughout the year. Your donations help us to support these charities. Kay's Kamp

Kay’s Kamp

The Mission of Kay’s Kamp is to provide children ages 5 to 17 who are battling cancer and those now in remission the opportunity to participate in a unique camping experience promoting fun and normalcy – Free of Charge!

The Del-One Foundation has supported Kay’s Kamp since 2013

Autism Delaware

Autism Delaware 

Autism Delaware is a nonprofit, advocacy organization devoted to serving people and families affected by autism. They serve the entire state through offices in Newark, Lewes and Dover.

Autism Delaware provide the following services:
1. Individual and Systems Advocacy
2. Parent Support and Mentoring
3. Information and Referral
4. Family and Teen Social Events
5. Adult Services through Productive Opportunities for Work & Recreation (POW&R)
6. Public Awareness and Media Outreach
7. Quarterly Newsletter
Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition

Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition

The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition (DBCC) helps those who are underserved and underinsured to receive free or reduced-cost care. In addition, the DBCC helps navigate residents to screenings across the state of Delaware.

The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition is not nationally funded. The majority of funding comes from local Delaware businesses and partners.

Charities Supported in 2019

Over $50,000 was donated to various charities in 2019, including those listed below. Funds were raised through Foundation member dues, selling candy at the branches, employee “jeans day” contributions, and by hosting the 8th Annual Charity Golf Tournament which raised nearly $14,000.    
Trauma Survivors Foundation

Trauma Survivors Foundation

The Trauma Survivors Foundation goal is to Improve the Lives of Children and Families who have Experienced a Traumatic Event and Help Them Learn to Live Life Again.

The Trauma Survivors Foundation helps:

Those Who Are Impacted: We provide Mental Health Services through a Network of Trained Trauma Therapists.

Those Who Want to Help: We grant scholarships to high school and college seniors who are seeking careers in the mental health field in order to promote further research into trauma psychology.

First Responders : We help firefighters, police and EMS with scholarships to attend approved training classes. We train emergency service personnel to provide crisis intervention when a traumatic event occurs.

Harry K Foundation

Harry K Foundation

The funds raised by the Harry K Foundation are dispersed through the Delaware Food Bank to support School Backpack Programs, as well as established and in instituting school pantries throughout Delaware.

The Harry K Foundation works closely with the food bank, staying in constant contact, communicating and coordinating where and when and to whom the trust will benefit the most. Through the committee of carefully selected community leaders and knowledgeable experts the hope and goal is to appropriate the funding to best serve, and meet the nutritional needs of children within Delaware.

Lori's Hands

Lori’s Hands

Lori’s Hands is a volunteer student organization that connects energetic college students with chronically ill members of the community.
Volunteers help their clients with housecleaning, grocery shopping, yard work, and other tasks.

At the University of Delaware, students have the opportunity to take a Lori’s Hands class, centered around topics of chronic illness in America.
A key component of the course is weekly service to Lori’s Hands clients.

Down Syndrome Association of Delaware

Down Syndrome Association of Delaware

Founded in 1979, the DSA of Delaware is a statewide non-profit support group, organized and managed by parents of people with Down syndrome. They aim to be a supportive resource, advocating for the acceptance and understanding that allows individuals with Down syndrome to achieve the same level of access and opportunity as their peers.
